Signed by Gray Malin, this image from his "Aqua Glam" series captures synchronized swimmers wearing high heels, with their feet jutting up from the water in the middle of a routine. This series was inspired by the elegance and glamour of synchronized swimming in the early 20th century. Using the Aqualillies as his muse, Malin photographed at the iconic 1920s Annenberg pool. Synchronized swimming combines the escape of a day at the pool and the vintage glamour of Old Hollywood--two of Malin's favorite subjects.
