An ornate hand-blown Venetian glass vanity box, circa 1920s. Embellished with lamp work floral finial and zanfirico bowl and lid. The striped pattern is achieved by heat fusing several canes, alternating the latticio and the blue. It requires an immensely skilled glass blower to produce a piece such as this one. Unmarked.

Set of six early 19th-century plates decorated with lyrics of popular songs of the era by P. J. de Beranger. The underglaze print was carefully transferred by hand onto the plates from paper ink-impressed with the lyrics from a hand engraved copper plate. Further decorated with hand painted stylish yellow bands and contrasting black lines. Bearing the impressed manufacturer mark of V. Paillart & N. Hautin, Choisy-le-Roi factory stamp of 1824-1836 production years.
