Italian walnut stool carved with scallop shell motifs. The legs are carved with faces and end in scrolled feet. Newly upholstered and finished with antique brass nailheads. The frame was completely tightened and re-glued by the upholsterer. Seat springs were re-tied and the upholsterer replaced the webbing. Small chip on carving, shown in image. The X-stretcher base has been re-glued and is in sturdy condition. Surface wear on frame.
