Set of four vintage Japanese black lacquered wall panels featuring vases of flowers. The figures are carved with great detail out of semi-precious stones and then painted over with details. Framed in black lacquer, with a hanger that is made out of filigreed brass. The surrounding frame is done in a soft gold paint, with silver accents. Each plaque: 14"L x 0.75"W x 36.5"H.

Burley-Winter vase with open double handles. Burley-Winter was one of America"s great pottery manufacturers. They operated from 1872 til about the mid-1930s in Crooksville, Ohio. A few glaze misses during production. The markings on the underside are not legible due to heavy glaze.
