Louis XVI-Style Mirror, C. 1880
French Louis XVI-style mirror carved with floral designs, rosettes, and a crest including a basket, ribbons, cornucopia, and flowers, circa 1880. The wood and plaster frame was later painted off-white. A few age spots on the original glass. Minor wear on frame, some losses on carving bottom right.
A beautiful Napoleon III Period Mantle Mirror with its original gold leaf frame with flower decor at each corner and beading around the glass. The mirrored glass is new.

A handsome bar cart from Spain, circa 1950s, made of brass with smoked glass tops. The cart features a bottle holder, nicely shaped legs and handle. Rolls on rubber wheels. From floor to top shelf: 28.50". Some wear on rubber at wheels but cart still rolls OK. Tires on large wheels have been replaced with new tires. Glass tops are removable.
Pair of 1870s Napoleon III chauffeuses, low chairs designed to sit by the fireplace. Made of ebonized pear wood and recently reupholstered in pale blue. Each features a slat back with a serpentine top rail and elegantly turned legs. Seats: 15.5"H. One seat has a slightly rounder shape than the other. Minor wear to wood.
French Renaissance revival corner chair, circa 1880. Made of dark walnut with intricate carvings. The rounded back features a mask in the center, fanciful dragons at the end of the armrests, and phoenixes on the back; additional carvings throughout of acanthus leaves, scrolls, and shells. The turned legs have wide fluted detail and a foliate cartouche at the joints. Needlepoint upholstery with floral design. Seat: 16.5"H. Minor wear on upholstery, seat is removable.
A pair of French Louis XVI-style armchairs purchased from a private home in the Loire region. The armchairs are made of beechwood with fluted legs and delicate carvings including acanthus leaves, beading, fretwork and rosettes. The chairs are upholstered in a striped fabric with burgundy and rose tones finished with antique nails. The rectangular flatbacks are called "A la reine " (queen style). From floor to seat, 17". Note: We have a matching settee available.

Pair of French Napoleon III-style armchairs, circa 1940. Upholstered in anise green with diamond pattern and apron fringes. Seats rest on ebonized pear wood feet. The two armchairs are slightly different in size; smaller armchair, 31.5"H x 33"W x 27"D. Seats, 18"H. Minor wear to fabric.

Pair of vintage French red vinyl chairs with black lacquered wood frames, circa 1960. Each chair features a tall, arched back and brass sabots on the end of each leg. Seats, 18.5"H. One chair has a small tear on the apron, minor scratches on wood.
Louis XVI-style desk found in the Loire region of France, circa 1900. Made of walnut with fluted, tapered legs. Carvings of flowers and foliage on the back and on the single drawer. The drawer features wreath-shaped brass pulls. Floor to apron: 24"H. Some age marks and scratches on top. A couple of legs are slightly slanted, but desk is sturdy.

18th-C. French Armoire
Beautiful Louis XV-Louis XVI transition armoire purchased in the Rhone Valley. Solid walnut with a gorgeous patina. Top panels of the doors are glass, probably added later. Doors and sides are paneled and have a scalloped apron. Interior has three full shelves and two half shelves. Interior, 15"W.
Egouttoir cabinet made of solid pine from the Provence region of France, circa 1900. "Egouttoir" translates to draining rack, and this piece was originally used to store and dry dishes and pots. Some cracks and discoloration on wood. Restoration on two back legs. Planks of wood on bottom have been replaced. Bottom shelf is slightly bowed.

1930s French Art Deco Cabinet
French Art Deco cabinet newly painted black with a light gray interior. The piece was originally made in walnut veneer and is dated 1937 on the back of the mirror. The cabinet features four wood doors with brass handles, paneled sides, and a plinth base with dentil molding. Each side cabinet has four adjustable shelves, the middle part has two. The top part in the center is a small vitrine with decorative silver metal glass doors, a glass shelf and a mirror in back. Age wear.
Tall chest of drawers made of solid cherrywood in the Directoire style, circa 1930. Rests on tapered legs with brass sabots. The three large drawers have shaped brass handles and key escutcheons. The wood is mid-toned with a slight red cast. A few scratches on top, some restoration to fill in wood separations. Two working keys, not original to piece, are included. Age wear to wood.

Features a single drawer on one side and carvings of rosettes and interlaces around the apron and on the X-shaped stretcher. The desk rest on legs with cable fluting. Floor to apron: 23.50"H. A French green garden table from Provence, late 1800s, featuring a wonderful cast iron base with a dark green aged patina and shaped legs with carved motifs and scrolls. The top is a slab of concrete that was later sponge painted in white and greenish tones. Perfect for the garden, the patio or inside your home. Floor to apron measures 26" H.Top cannot be removed as it is attached to base with cement. Some rust on iron.
Period Louis Philippe demilune table in French blonde walnut that opens up to a round table of 50.75"Dia. The back center leg slides out revealing a drawer that also serves as support when the table top is open. Legs are turned and rest on casters. A decorative brass element provides reinforced closure of the demilune table top. Beautiful patina. Some aging on wood around the apron and on top. Back center leg is slightly slanted.

Bistro table from Provence, France, circa 1920. The long pine top has been painted black with deep red trim and is supported on three sculpted, forged iron legs, each with two scrolled arms. All the metal work has weathered red paint matching the top's trim. The table can sit up to 10 people. From floor to apron: 27.25"H. Distressed paint, some rust on base.

Venetian glass mirror adorned with black glass panels with églomisé motifs of foliage and flowers. The cut-glass top part around crest features an urn with flower in the center. Olymp is a German-based company that specializes in designing hair salon furnishings. The six vintage armchairs are made of polished chrome metal with salmon pink vinyl seats. The chairs have curved armrests and rest on a five-foot pedestal base. The vinyl seats are attached by Velcro. Seat, 18.25"H. age wear, minor tears on vinyl.
A 19th-century French trunk made of walnut in the Louis XIV style. The front has two molded panels featuring hand-carved scroll, rosette and star motifs. The lock and key are missing.

Pair of European wooden lamps painted off-white. The actual white fabric shades are 13.5"Dia at top x 14"Dia at bottom x 10.5"H. Although a pair, one lamp is slightly taller than the other. Each lamp is housing a regular 3-way bulb. One lamp is slightly taller than the other by 1/8". Rewired to US standards. Distressed paint. Shades included.

Late-19th-century French Napoleon III mirror with a carved and distressed giltwood frame. Highly embellished with carved detailing, including a beaded inner rim and rippled rope along the outside. Each corner is profuse with carved floral swags and a charming apple in the center. The finish is heavily distressed with worn white wash over gilding, giving way to the underlying red ocher. New glass.
