Oil on canvas painting of a girl feeding chickens by Charles James Lauder (b. 1841). Exhibited at the Royal Academy and Royal Society of Painters. Lauder was known for his Victorian landscapes. In 1874 he exhibited at the Royal Scottish Society with great success. Later that year he was inducted in Art Circle in Glasgow. Signed lower left with original frontal inscription.

A collection of four vintage Maison Jansen balloon back chairs. Each chair features an arched crest with bent sides surrounding a carved splat shaped to look like a hot air balloon. The chairs have round cushion seats and rest on rosette block over turned ring and fluted tapering legs. The frames are finished in a cream hue and the seats are upholstered in a mauve stripe cotton silk blend fabric. Measurements for individual chair.
Ornate nine-light silver-gilt iron chandelier with a European influence. Large beveled French-cut crystals adorn the silver-leaf scrolled ironwork and acanthus leaves. Individual silk shades could be added. Wired and in working condition; accommodates nine candelabra bulbs. A matching decorative canopy and an additional 7.5" of the original chain are included. Antique English stoneware water filter. Tall and heavy piece with raised relieve decoration, including lion's head handles. Missing original spout, universal spout can be easily obtained online if needed for actual use. Has it's original inner strainer. Charcoal was placed in chamber and water was filtered through for drinking. Commonly made into lamps and planters today. Maker's mark on front. Light wear.

Still life by Igor Katserayev, who painted at the turn of the 20th century and attended the Imperial Art School in Moscow sponsored by Tsar Nicholas. After leaving school Katserayev was commissioned to do personal work for most of the Moscovite upper class. This still life was a part of a Russian personal collection. Signed lower right and dated 1909.
1950s Italian rope and tassel motif bar cart. Features a detailed metal base in a gold and yellow metal finish with two removable shelves and bottle compartment on bottom. Top shelf is new clear glass and bottom shelf is new mirrored glass. Cart glides and rolls perfectly with its original casters. No maker's mark. Some scuffs, age wear to finish.
