Gleiforst was born in Crete, Nebraska but soon moved to Oregon where she studied at the University of Oregon. She then settled in Beverly Hills where she began to paint. Her teachers included Nicolai Fechin and John Hubbard Rich. Gleiforst primarily painted plein air, as well as landscapes and florals. Unframed.
