Original watercolor portrait of a woman by artist Emil Kosa Jr. (French 1903-1968). Kosa studied at the Prague Academy and at the California Art Institute in Los Angeles. He returned to Paris in 1927 to study at l'École des Beaux-Arts. In 1928 he came back to Los Angeles and taught at Chouinard and the Otis Art Institutes. Kosa spent 35 years of his life working for 20th Century Fox studios as an artist. In 1963 he won an Oscar for his work on Cleopatra. Image, 15"L x 19"H.
