Last week, we opened the doors to our third store. Located in Boston at 25 Thomson Place, the shop is just a few blocks from the Boston Children’s Museum and the Institute of Contemporary Art (where a fabulous Yayoi Kusama installation, “Love Is Calling,” is on display through early February 2021).
We spent the weekend feting the store opening with our partners Plain English Cupboardmakers, Menton, 90+ Cellars, Pollen Floral Design, and Bartaco. See what you missed last weekend below, and check our Facebook page for upcoming events at our Boston store!
We kicked off the weekend with our grand opening party, co-hosted by Erin Gates, an interior designer, product designer, and New York Times best-selling author; Elizabeth Georgantas, the founder and principal designer of GEORGANTAS Design + Development; and Clinton Smith, the editor-in-chief of New England Home. Chef Barbara Lynch of Menton catered the party and served her famous Tomato Tatin.
Friday morning started with a proper English tea in our kitchen designed exclusively for us by Plain English Cupboardmakers. We followed the tea with a happy hour and toasted the shop with sips from 90+ Cellars.
On Saturday morning we gifted shoppers with beautiful arrangements from Pollen Floral Design. Our neighbors at Bartaco came over in the afternoon to share some of their delicious food and agua fresca sodas.
Our One Kings Lane Interior Design team was out in full force on Sunday to help shoppers design their home. You can learn more about our Interior Design team and book an appointment with them here.
