Here they share their Classic Hot Chocolate recipe from their cookbook, centering around what we consider the eighth wonder of the world: chocolate. Here’s to a delicious cold-weather companion for these winter months.
- 4 cups whole milk
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 ounces dark chocolate
1. In a medium saucepan, combine milk, cocoa powder, sugar, and vanilla.
2. Bring to boil, stirring frequently.
3. Shave chocolate over each mug. Serve piping hot with a toasted marshmallow.
