There’s a lot to love about the latest upholstery additions to the One Kings Lane Collection. Available only at onekingslane.com, the new assortment consists of 10 sofa styles, each available in three sizes, along with seven armchairs and three swivel chairs.

Each piece of furniture is crafted in the USA of top-quality materials such as kiln-dried hardwood and high-resilience cushion fill. What’s more, each is available in 10 velvet fabrics and 10 linenlike options, ranging from snowy white to rich indigo. All the fabrics are water-repellent and stain-resistant, so kids and pets can enjoy your seating as much as you (and you needn’t refrain from serving red wine to even your clumsiest guests).

When designing the collection, we made certain to include options for every aesthetic. Whether you’re a New Traditionalist or an Eclectic, a Naturalist or a Curator—or a mix of several—you’ll find designs just right for you. See for yourself below. (And if you’re not sure which aesthetic best fits your style, this post will help.)

New Traditionalist

As the name indicates, New Traditionalists favor classics with a twist. Both the Chatsworth and the Isadora are just that. A regal chesterfield, the Chatsworth features diamond tufting, ample rolled arms, and graceful turned legs. But while most other chesterfields are too stiff and firm for lazy lounging, the Chatsworth is exceptionally comfortable thanks to extra-thick high-resilience foam cushion fill wrapped in down.

Like the Chatsworth, the Isadora has turned legs, with brass casters for extra maneuverability and a bit of glimmer. Its sloped English arms transcend trends. We designed it to be generously proportioned: The armchair can accommodate you and one of your kids (or dogs!), and the sofa is roomy enough for you to indulge in your love of decorative pillows.

Eclectic

Eclectic style is difficult to define, since it draws from so many sources. What’s more, one person’s eclectic style can be wildly different from another’s. That said, our Colette and Romy sofas and chairs capture the free-spirited élan at the heart of all Eclectics.

The curvaceous Colette, for instance, like the French writer of the same name, is a rule-breaker. Fashion-forward yet surprisingly practical, it has no back cushions, so it’s always looks picture-perfect. (The sofa does come with two matching ball pillows, however, while the swivel chair comes with one.) Down-wrapped cushion fill ensures plush comfort.

Romy also has down-enveloped fill and its share of curves. Its silhouette, however, recalls vintage camelback seating, as do its turned legs. At the same time, the sofa and armchair are more streamlined and less fussy than Grandma’s, and they can complement needlepoint pillows and Staffordshire pottery as gracefully as they can Pop Art prints and rattan lighting.

Naturalist

Organic ease and artisanal grace are hallmarks of Naturalist style. Our Delano, Parker, and Peri styles offer plenty of both, along with unrivaled comfort.

If ever a sofa or an armchair exemplified Leonardo da Vinci’s declaration “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication,” it’s the Delano. Its exposed pale wood base adds warmth to its clean silhouette.

The Parker and the Peri are not only among our most comfortable seating, but they might be the most comfortable sofas and chairs ever. Both have cushions filled with high-resilience memory foam (five inches thick for the Peri!) enveloped in sumptuous down. The Parker sofa is deep enough to serve as a daybed, and the flange trim adds casual flair and speaks to an exceptional attention to detail. The Peri sofa’s oversize down-filled armrest cushions are ideal for weekend naps. Once you sink into these sofas or armchairs, you’ll never want to get back up!

Curator

Curator style is precise and discerning, with a preference for crisp, contemporary shapes and luxe materials. The Darcy, Stanton, and Carver seating tick all the boxes for Curator chic.

Sumptuous might have been invented to describe the Darcy sofa and armchair. The sleek tuxedo-style silhouette, the channeled upholstery, the rounded corners, the broad arms: This is seating that knows how to command attention—and it feels as lush as it looks.

The bold proportions of the Stanton are similar to those of French Deco seating. The self-welted edges emphasize the clean lines, giving both the sofa and the swivel chair the elegance of bespoke upholstery. The Carver sofa and swivel chair are equally assured in style, with their ideal balance of fluid curves and graceful angles. And because the Carver, like the Darcy, has a tight seat and back, you’ll never have to worry about tidying cushions when guests arrive.
