Host a Dinner Party Without Cooking or Cleaning!

It’s no secret that here at One Kings Lane we love nothing more than hosting a dinner party at home. But what if your studio apartment means a seated soiree for seven is out of the question? Case in point, our very own senior brand manager Meredith Frisco. Undeterred by her lack of space, this determined hostess decided to take the party to one of her favorite restaurants, NYC’s Musket Room, and invited Rue magazine along for the ride.

Worried the restaurant’s standard-issue table won’t have the intimate feeling of home? Meredith brought serious personality to her party’s surface by using disposable place mats and napkins worthy of any at-home affair, and each guest was greeted at her seat by a small flower arrangement that pulled double-duty as a place card and a take-home gift.

Click over to Rue‘s November issue to see the full story, including more of Meredith’s tips and must-read dos and don’ts for pulling off your own easy breezy affair.

Meredith headed into the restaurant to get her table set up before her guests arrive.
