8'x11' May Flat-Weave Rug, Red Clay

Care, Features & Customer Questions

The X May Flat is a flatweave with a tight, low-profile weave designed for durability and minimal pile wear, making it well suited to busy living rooms, hallways, or family areas while producing little shedding.

At roughly 8' x 11', this rug anchors large seating arrangements—place it so front legs of sofas and chairs rest on the rug for a cohesive look—or center it under an 8-seat dining table to define the dining zone while leaving a generous border of floor around the edges.

The saturated red field makes a confident focal point that complements warm woods, black- or brass-metal accents, and neutral upholstery; use it to add instant warmth to minimalist spaces or to layer with vintage antiques for a collected, global feel.

Regular vacuuming without a beater bar, immediate blotting of spills with a damp cloth and mild detergent, and seasonal rotation will preserve color and weave integrity; pairing it with a breathable non-slip pad further reduces wear and movement.

Its low-profile construction lets furniture sit squarely on the rug without rocking or interfering with door clearance, and when used with a quality rug pad it stays put on hardwood or tile while protecting the floor beneath.
