the Bird Isle collection. Bellaire apprenticed under Sascha Brastoff in the late 1940s and early 1950s, then operated his namesake pottery in Culver City, California from 1953 through the early 1960s.

double basin and handles. Ornate acanthus leaf design in relief on the top surface. Marked "Hand Made, Hand Painted, In Italy, By Pizzato" on the underside. Minor glaze crazing.
