When Ilon Specht worked in advertising in NYC, she authored major ad campaigns, including "Because I’m Worth It" for L’Oréal. Over the years, to mitigate the stress of her high-powered job, she collected antiques for her residences. When she couldn’t decorate as fast as she could hunt and gather, she founded Hacienda, an Ojai, CA, antiques shop dedicated to the diversity of beauty, run by Martin Sierra and filled by Ilon.
