a Burmese "frame" for a Buddha image. Features floral carvings, original gilding, and traces of red lacquer. Mounted on stand, 21"H. Minor surface wear.
These X-shape bookends are handcrafted by artisans in
Vietnam from eco-friendly acacia wood. Finished with a rich, high-gloss walnut stain, they serve as functional additions to a bookshelf but can also stand alone as sculptural objets.
