Noted for its intrepid color combinations and imaginative medleys of distinctive 20th-century design, Downtown is a destination for fresh design ideas. The LA shop was launched in 1996 by David Serrano and Robert Willson. In 2008, the shop was joined by the adjacent Outside Downtown. The pair’s enviable home was featured in the Dealer’s Choice: At Home with Purveyors of Antique and Vintage Furnishings (2001).
