A vintage lithograph by Marc Chagall, printed in 1973 on fine paper by XXe Siècle. This work includes many classic Chagall images, such as the horse and bird. Custom frame.
Russian by birth, Marc Chagall was educated in St. Petersburg and Paris, eventually emigrating to France in 1923. Although influenced early on by Russian Expressionism and French Cubism, Chagall created a style that was unique to the 20th century. His mastery of color suffuses his paintings and prints as well as the stained glass work that he created for European cathedrals.
