Why we love this
"La Chambre Bleue d'Arthénice" (The Blue Room of Arthenice"). From Gazette du Bon Ton, 1923. The print highlights an evening dress by House of Beer against a blue background, illustrated by Georges Barbier. Gazette was a leading Art Deco revue in Paris in the 1920s, showcasing the latest in fashion and design. The Art Deco period, a highpoint in French art, included leading artists Georges Lepape, Georges Barbier, Edouard Garcia Benito, Erté, and others. Unframed.
