Academy award-winning actress Diane Keaton has been in love with California architecture since childhood. She's authored two books on design, bought and renovated countless homes, and is now celebrating the release of her second memoir, Let's Just Say It Wasn't Pretty. She has also, with her sister Dorrie Hall, been a collector of Southwestern and California vintage and antique pieces.
Matt Carlton, an accomplished turner/thrower, joined Bauer in
1915 and was considered a major player in the company. This is one of his hand-thrown vases, ribbed with a ruffled rim. Brilliant orange glaze has a glossy finish. Very collectible.
