About Charleston & Atlanta Artist Collectives

Linda Elksnin creates whimsical works of art in both abstract and loosely representational styles, with a focus on color and graphically pleasing design. She often incorporates symbols, shapes, and subject matter from a variety of global cultures, from Haiti to Australia. After working as an art teacher for children with disabilities and teaching graduate programs at The Citadel, Elksnin retired in 2006 to paint full time. Her work has been shown throughout the southeast in galleries and at juried art shows. The artist works out of the Redux Contemporary Art Center in Charleston and her Mount Pleasant studio.
