Heidi Merrick began her ready-to-wear line in 2006 with a four-piece collection she draped, patterned and sewed herself. In 2010 she launched her home goods. The influence of her father, legendary surfboard shaper Al Merrick, is evident in Merrick’s passion for craftsmanship, the ocean and clean design. A native Californian, she manufactures responsibly and locally, and lives in Silverlake with her husband Johnny and little girl Hiver.
