English Staffordshire dog's head bank with majolica glaze,
circa 1850. No maker's mark. Unusual to find in such nice condition, as they are "smash" banks - needing to be broken to remove the coins. Light wear, crazing.
Antique mother-of-pearl, silver, and horn boat box with
flip-up half lid on hinges. Sterling silver trim and fasteners. Faint floral etched design on the mother-of-pearl lid. No maker's mark. Worn design on surface, minor missing piece of mother-of-pearl.
