Why we love this

A fine-art giclée reproduction on canvas of "At the Races in the Countryside " (1869) by Edgar Degas (1834-1917). This work is part landscape, part everyday life scene, and part family portrait. The driver of the carriage is Degas's friend Paul Valpinçon, who is painted with his wife, a nurse, and the couple's son Henri, in the nurse's lap. The races, ironically, play a minor role in the composition. Custom frame.
