Why we love this

A fine-art giclée print on canvas of "Le Grand Muveran," a 1912 work by Ferdinand Hodler (1853-1918). One of the best-known Swiss painters of the 19th century, Hodler is noted for his portraits and landscapes, particularly those depicting mountains and lakes. Uniting landscape with spiritual expression, the artist imbued his works with his own symbolic perceptions. In this work, which was completed in Valais, Hodler uses pastel tones to capture the diffuse light of the overcast day. Custom frame.
