This is an unsigned print of one of the David Hockney's most famous works. The original exhibition poster comes from his 2006 exhibition at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. British artist David Hockney is a virtuoso, roving from portrait painting to photography and graphic works to this day. After finishing at the Royal College of Art in London, Hockney moved to California in the early 1960s, where he first achieved the flat, brilliantly colorful acrylics we think of today. While he had an early bent toward Pop Art, Hockney’s modern style of expressive color, inventive perspective, and total cool is all his own.
