Why we love this
17th-century William and Mary dresser. The backsplash is paneled and carved and has a single plate shelf that is supported by two splats, which are also carved. The top is made up of planks, and follows down to a dresser base with paneled sides and four drawers over two doors and two central drawers. The entire front of the case is exquisitely hand-carved, decorated, and is raised on turned feet. Serving area, 35"H. Wear and shrinkage, old repairs and discolorations.
