Why we love this

A giclée print on canvas of "Self Portrait I" (1910) by Marianne von Werefkin (1860-1938). Werefkin was a Russian-Swiss Expressionist painter. She initiated a Salon in Munich which soon became a center of lively artistic exchange. She also founded the “Lukasbruderschaft” of which Kandinsky was a member. Werefkin was a founding member, along with Vassily Kandinsky, Alexej von Jawlensky, and Gabriele Münter, of the new artist group Neue Künstlervereinigung München. Custom frame.
