Painting of Pueblo church with Navajo by artist, Carl Bray (1917-2011). Signed, oil on board. Bray studied art at Miami University and in 1936 moved to Coachella Valley in southern California. There he studied art in the Works Progress Administration classes. He also studied with Maynard Dixon and Russell Swan. For 50 years he had an art gallery on Highway 111 in Indian Wells, CA. His subject matter was primarily Southwestern themes. Circa 1930.
