Welcome to Prints with a Past. Since 1997 we have shared our love of original antique and vintage prints with our clients. The business grew out of our enjoyment in antiquing while living in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and collecting prints for our home and to give as gifts. We take great pride in presenting a diverse selection of original engravings and lithographs from the late 1700s through early 1900s, and sharing the story about each one. —Your hosts, Nancy and Dick Bossler.
Why we love this
Original tinted lithograph of the HMS Glatton, an armour-plated turret ship in the Royal Navy. Print was part of an 1870s folio published privately for patrons who had an interest in the major ships in the British fleet at that time. Conservation matted in beige. Image, 8.5"L x 7"H. Includes a certificate with additional information and the original page of accompanying text. Minor age toning to paper.
