Parabellum works with a domestic, family-owned micro-tannery where age-old artisan techniques bring out the radiance and beauty of their densely textured bison leather. After tanning, the leather is colored in small batches using old-world dyeing barrels. All products are primarily crafted from the American Bison, which is indigenous to North America. The leather comes from free-range American Bison ranches where the animals live organically, wander freely, and are humanely treated throughout their lives. Only mature bison hides that are a byproduct of the meat industry are used in Parabellum products. Each hide is carefully selected and treated in the micro-tannery before being meticulously crafted in the Parabellum Los Angeles workshop into durable, unique pieces that last a lifetime and only get better with age.
