The Cutting Edge collection combines strategic eyelet cutouts with Liora Manné's patented Lamontage technique, a modern-day felting technique in which fibers are layered by hand and then interlocked by a needle-punch, creating custom colors. This results in a high-performance textile with a colorful, modern look. These place mats are turquoise on one side and gold on the reverse, providing twice the allure. Designer Liora Manné was headed for a life in the theater until she discovered a passion for textiles. After starting her career in fashion, she migrated to products for the home, developing exciting new creative processes. Her designs appear in the Mondrian Hotel in Los Angeles, the Tomorrowland department store in Tokyo, and the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
