Located in Midtown East Manhattan, the Phyllis Lucas Gallery/Old Print Center has one of the largest collections of antique prints and fine art in New York City. With a long and storied history, our gallery holds the distinction as the first publisher of Salvador Dali’s lithographs in America and has been among the foremost of the city's dealers in antique works on paper since its founding in 1928.
Why we love this
Original pencil-signed color etching of fishing sailboat in shades of orange and blue by Luigini (1870 - 1943.) Ferdinand Jean Luigini studied art in Paris. He began exhibiting his landscapes and architectural renderings in Paris in 1892 with the Salon des Artistes. Many of his etchings were distributed by the Paris Etching Society in New York City which later became the Phyllis Lucas Gallery. Signed lower right. Unframed.
