Located in Midtown East Manhattan, the Phyllis Lucas Gallery/Old Print Center has one of the largest collections of antique prints and fine art in New York City. With a long and storied history, our gallery holds the distinction as the first publisher of Salvador Dali’s lithographs in America and has been among the foremost of the city's dealers in antique works on paper since its founding in 1928.
Why we love this
1981 original lithograph of a group of sailboats by Emillo Sanchez, pencil-signed lower right and numbered (100/100) lower left. Sanchez brilliantly captures the movement of white sails, azure water, and a piebald sky. Emilio Sanchez (1921-1999) was a Cuban-born American artist known for his architectural paintings and graphic lithographs. The Emilio Sánchez Foundation in New York City preserves his legacy through research, exhibitions, and publications. Unframed.
