Welcome to Prints with a Past. Since 1997 we have shared our love of original antique and vintage prints with our clients. The business grew out of our enjoyment in antiquing while living in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and collecting prints for our home and to give as gifts. We take great pride in presenting a diverse selection of original engravings and lithographs from the late 1700s through early 1900s, and sharing the story about each one. —Your hosts, Nancy and Dick Bossler.
Why we love this
Color lithograph from a folio of the costumes of people native to pre-Columbian and post-conquest South America. Print shows a style of poncho worn by the "arrieros," rough country carriers in the Valparaiso region of Chile. Based on an illustration by the French painter and decorator Edouard Halouze. Conservation matted to fit a standard frame size. Image, 8.5"L x 12"H. Includes a certificate with additional information.
