Why we love this
Midcentury Brutalist-style abstract sculpture by artist Genevieve Peterson of Alameda, CA. Metal welded together attached to a metal stand attached to a black painted wood block. Wood block, 12"L x 5.5"W x 3.5"H. Acquired in Alameda, CA from a good friend of the artist, unsigned. Peterson's work is in the collection of the Smithsonian Institute. Minor wear consistent with age and history. Some rust on metal.
