A 1979 graduate of the University of California in aesthetic studies and fine art photography, I have spent many years photographing the California mountains and coast. I met Ansel Adams in 1979 at his Carmel studio and have been collecting California plein air paintings since 1986. I offer a wide variety of artists and genres and hope you enjoy my passion for paintings and sculpture.

Early-20th-century landscape painting by California artist Harry Craig Smith (American, 1882-1957). Harry C. Smith was known for his desert and mountain landscapes. He was living in southern California by 1920, and by the 1940s, he moved to Bakersfield where he founded the Bakersfield Art Association. Oil on canvas and presented in a giltwood frame. Signed "Harry C. Smith" bottom right. Image size, 20"H x 24"L.
