A 1979 graduate of the University of California in aesthetic studies and fine art photography, I have spent many years photographing the California mountains and coast. I met Ansel Adams in 1979 at his Carmel studio and have been collecting California plein air paintings since 1986. I offer a wide variety of artists and genres and hope you enjoy my passion for paintings and sculpture.

The wine tasters, gathering to enjoy their hobby by Johann Peter Hasenclever (Germany, 1810-1853). Paper laid down on canvas. Signed in the print "J. P. Hasendever 1843," lower right. Johann Peter Hasenclever is considered one of Germany's most important genre painters of the 19th century. Under-mat has imprint from canvas lettering bleeding through. Displayed in a period wood and giltwood frame. Image, 23.5"H x 34.25"L. Original under mat has losses and age toning.
