Established in 1979, Owl's Roost Antiques began as a hobby for an avid antiques collector. The owner loves to travel the world looking for treasures. She decided to share this collection with people who love unique pieces as much as she does. Starting in wicker and decorative arts, Owl's Roost evolved into a business that primarily deals in antique and estate jewelry and objects d'art. Although we buy and sell pieces from all eras, we specialize in 1940s to now.
Why we love this
Hand-printed Russian fairy tale black lacquered trinket box, 1973. Signed by the artist. This box has a intricate scene with beautifully painted castles in the background of two fishermen in a boat with a gilt beaded trim. Red lacquered interior. A few tiny dings and wear on bottom.
