The Charleston Artist Collective was founded in 2010 by Allison Williamson. The Collective is comprised of local Charleston artists who produce affordable, quality, original fine art from abstracts to landscapes to still lives. Charleston Artist Collective made it their mission to give a percentage back to local charities and non-profits. In 2014, The Atlanta Artist Collective was created with Director, Laine Kilburn. The sister site has the same mission with Atlanta-based artists. Collectively, the Atlanta Artist Collective and the Charleston Artist Collective has donated over $100,000 to charities since their inception.
Why we love this

Exclusive to One Kings Lane: This captivating mixed-media abstraction from Leslie Alterman is defined by its expressive color and balance.

An Atlanta native, Alterman recently put down her camera and picked up a paintbrush in pursuit of finding her voice through a new medium. Her lively, spontaneous works are inspired by graffiti, folk art, nature, and most of all children's art. She lives in Brookhaven with her husband and three boys and works out of The Above Grounds Studios in Old Chamblee. “I aspire to be as pure as a child when I work,” Alterman says. “What you see in my paintings are a collection of things that bring me joy.”
