Photographer Leslee Mitchell believes that life is too beautiful for bad photography. After practicing law for years, she now finds herself fully immersed in the photography world, happily pulling double-duty as a stylist for most her shoots. Her work has been featured in a variety of magazines and blogs, and in 2014, Mitchell was named one of Rangefinder’s 30 Rising Stars for 2014.
Why we love this

From Leslee Mitchell, this profile image of an ambulance toy really pops against a stark background. The Nashville-based photographer has always been drawn to the interesting and feminine curves of an old car. Her Matchbox car series is a way to combine her lifelong passion for vintage cars with her professional background in interior design photography. This work is printed on fine-art paper and displayed in a white polystyrene frame.
