Oil on canvas by Charles Jones (British/Welsh b. 1836). In 1856 Jones had 29 works represented at the Royal Society of Painters. Today his works are present in the Royal Cornwall Museum, National Museum Wales, Manchester Art Gallery and the Wolverhampton Art Gallery. This work is housed in its original frame. Initialed and dated 1888 lower right. Inscribed on verso.
