A 1979 graduate of the University of California in aesthetic studies and fine art photography, I have spent many years photographing the California mountains and coast. I met Ansel Adams in 1979 at his Carmel studio and have been collecting California plein air paintings since 1986. I offer a wide variety of artists and genres and hope you enjoy my passion for paintings and sculpture.
Why we love this
Oil painting of two polar bears by Honora Berg (American, 1897-1985). Berg studied at the San Francisco Art Institute with David Park, Elmer Bischoff, James Budd Dixon. Edith Truesdell (David Parks' aunt) suggested Berg move to California in 1951 to study under Parks. Group Exhibitions: 1961 25th Annual Drawing, Print and Sculpture Exhibition at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Estate stamp on verso: The Estate of Honora Berg. Unframed. Image, 19"H x 19"L.
