Welcome to Prints with a Past. Since 1997 we have shared our love of original antique and vintage prints with our clients. The business grew out of our enjoyment in antiquing while living in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and collecting prints for our home and to give as gifts. We take great pride in presenting a diverse selection of original engravings and lithographs from the late 1700s through early 1900s, and sharing the story about each one. —Your hosts, Nancy and Dick Bossler.
Why we love this
Pair of original color lithograph maps showing the territories in the French empire in 1931. Accompanied an article in "Fortune" magazine. Maps also show territories in the English empire, French colonial capitals and historical notes. Based on an illustration by William Longyear (1899-1980), American board game designer and artist. Each map measures 9"L x 11"H. Includes a certificate with additional information. No maker's mark.
