A 1979 graduate of the University of California in aesthetic studies and fine art photography, I have spent many years photographing the California mountains and coast. I met Ansel Adams in 1979 at his Carmel studio and have been collecting California plein air paintings since 1986. I offer a wide variety of artists and genres and hope you enjoy my passion for paintings and sculpture.

Crashing surf by Santa Cruz, California artist Margaret E. Rogers (American, 1872-1961). Born in Birmingham, England, her family immigrated to California in 1875. Margaret was one of the original "Jolly Daubers" with Cor DeGavere, Leonora Penniman and Louise Cunningham, Santa Cruz Art League Founding Members. She studied with Frank Heath on many wagon trips to Big Basin. Signed "M.E. Rogers" lower right. Presented in a giltwood frame. Image, 10.5"H x 14.5"L.
