Why we love this

New Mexico ranch painting by Santa Fe artist Tommy Macaione (1907-1992), circa 1980. Displayed in a giltwood frame. Macaione was referred to as "El Diferente" for his wildly unconventional manner and appearance. Colleague of Santa Fe Colony artists Alfred Morang, Randall Davey, Fremont Ellis, Gustave Baumann, and Will Schuster. A life-size bronze statue of the artist is featured in a Santa Fe park.
