Why we love this

Early-20th-century Grueby water lily tiles displayed in a wood frame. Company stamp on back. Grueby Faience Company was founded in 1894 by William Henry Grueby in Revere, Massachusetts. The company produced art pottery and architectural tile, and became known for their own version of French matte glazes. The company closed in 1920.
