Why we love this
Oil on canvas by Henri Delpy (French 1877-1957). Delpy was strongly influenced by his father Hippolyte Camille Delpy and Charles Francois Daubigny. He exhibited at the Salon des Independents in Paris, where he obtained medals in 1927, 1944, 1945, and 1946. Today his pieces are in numerous European museums and private collections. This work is housed in its original frame. Signed lower left.
