Why we love this
Reed & Barton silver-plate pedestal dish with brilliant green glaze. The explosion of color that pervaded silverware in the 1960s was a reaction to 1950s Scandinavian enamelware. In 1961, Reed & Barton came out with Color Glaze, an enamel-like translucent painted finish developed primarily by craftsman John Prip. Marked "Reed & Barton 141." The original Reed & Barton sticker is attached. Minor age wear.
