A 1979 graduate of the University of California in aesthetic studies and fine art photography, I have spent many years photographing the California mountains and coast. I met Ansel Adams in 1979 at his Carmel studio and have been collecting California plein air paintings since 1986. I offer a wide variety of artists and genres and hope you enjoy my passion for paintings and sculpture.

Autumn mums by Margaret Caroline Sawyer John (American,1871-1951). Margaret studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and at the University and at Lindenwood College in St. Charles. She was a member of the Oregon Society of Artists and the Portland chapters of the American Artists Professional League. Margaret exhibited at the Oregon and Washington State Fairs from 1924 to 1932. Presented in a giltwood frame. Signed "Margaret Sawyer John" and dated "1926" lower right. Image, 14"H x 20"L.
